The Triskel

The Triskel shows the beginning and the end, the eternal evolution and perpetual learning. Since it represents the three spirals in movement that are three God's aspects. Being a carrier of the Triskel is so much like to being a God's driver. The druids, who were the only ones that could show the sacred symbol of the divinity, were almost like walking gods, living temples. Lodging and carrying on their breast three extracts of the divinity. But the trískel was not only a way of calling to the order or of showing the power, it was a magic, religious tool and a conduct towards the ancestral worlds. From the magic point of view the Triskel is a lucky charm and according to the legends it can work the healing to remove the fever, relief wounds and, to be of big help to drive to the souls of the deceased before the presence of his forefathers. From the spiritual point of view the Triskel was serving to give peace of spirit and frame of mind to those that were touching it at the time that they were invoking his gods. The druid has waited during a lot of time to have on his chest this element of worship and it is known that with the sickle, the pole, the virita, the boiler and the mistletoe it forms team of work. From a divinatory and transcendental perspective the triskel will be the door that is opened to enter the energy plane of the gods.
